REASI, May 27: In another incident of drowning, a teenage girl was swept away in nallah while washing clothes near Budhnar Bridge in Mahore, here today.
The deceased was identified as Parveen Akhter, aged around 16 years, daughter of Gulam Mohd, a resident of Arbais, tehsil Mahore, district Reasi.

According to the reports, the girl had gone to wash clothes on bank of the nallah near Budhnar Bridge when she was swept away by strong flow of the water.
Even as some locals immediately rushed to the spot, the girl could not be rescued and later her dead body was fished out. This was the second such incident in the area within one week.
