JAMMU, Oct 15: A girl died after she hit her scooty with a stranded car near Greater Kailash area here today.
As per police sources, a girl identified as Poonam (25), daughter of Suraj Parkash, a resident of Swarn Nagar Langar was seriously injured after she hit her scooty with a stranded car near Greater Kailash.
The profusely bleeding victim was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where she failed to respond to the treatment and died.
After conducting post-mortem, the body of the girl was handed over to family members for last rites.
A case under FIR Number 152/2021 under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Gangyal and investigation started.
