SAMBA, June 30: A young girl died after hit by a train at Ghagwal railway station near here.
The deceased has been identified as Kiran Devi, 20, daughter of Santosh Kumar of village Jasath.
The incident took place last night when the girl was crossing railway Fatak and was hit by a train killing her on spot.
Some people saw her lying on railway track and informed police which shifted the body to mortuary of District Hospital Samba for autopsy.
Police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
