UDHAMPUR, June 30: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Dr Piyush Singla today convened a meeting of all SDMs and Tehsildars of Udhampur district in which mission 100 % Jamabandi was launched.
During the meeting, DC reviewed the tehsil wise status of Jamabandis updation in the district.
The meeting was informed that 256 Jamabandis are pending for updation. DC asked all Tehsildars and SDMs to complete the updation of Jamabandis by 30th July 2019.
DC asked Tehsildars to fix day wise targets for each Patwari and submit target fixed report to his office. Tehsildars were also directed to monitor daily progress report of all Patwaris and submit weekly status report to Deputy Commissioner.
Meeting was also informed that strict action will be taken against the defaulter Patwaris under relevant Civil Service Rules.
