Srinagar, Oct 23: A Government Higher Secondary School was set ablaze in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district by miscreants and two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were injured in a grenade attack here.
Police sources said Government Higher Secondary School at Nehama was set afire by miscreants this evening. Fire tenderers reached the spot and put out the fire but not before the building was damaged.
This is the second school that was set ablaze in South Kashmir in two davs. Earlier yesterday Gavernment Middle School was set afire at Watoo in district Kulgam.
Meanwhile, militants this evening hurled a grenade on the CRPF camp at Chehlar In Pulwama district in which two CRPF men were injured. The CRPF personnel retaliated but the militants fled under the cover of darkness.
