JAMMU, Aug 2: The faculty members of GCET have decided to observe four days protest against lackadaisical approach of the State Government . towards the genuine grievances of faculty members.
Decision in this regard was taken during a meeting of ECTA, s held in GCET campus, for discussion over formation and implementation of promotional rules under CAS.
All the faculty members took note of previous submissions made to Secretary Higher Education Department / Principal GCET through proper channel submitted from time to time for the last 20 years, the latest being Ref. No. ECTA/Hr.Edu/06/16 Dated : 13/06/2016.
It was observed by faculty members that the Higher Education Dept. has once again not taken any concrete action in this regard and the faculty members are left with no option but to launch the non-cooperation movement as already communicated vide their letter No. ECTA/Hr.Edu/06/2016 Dated : 13-06-2016.
