5 injured in road mishaps

JAMMU/Samba, Aug 2: Five persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in Samba and Jammu districts.
“One Vicky Kumar (24) son of Ram Lal was injured when the load carrier he was driving was hit by a bus at Bantalab in Nagrota area of city outskirts”, a police spokesman said.
Meanwhile, one Ashok Singh (42) son of Sansar Singh was injured when the scooter on which he was travelling was hit by an unknown vehicle at flyover over Bus Stand”, he added.
He said both the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment while the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter in both cases.
Meanwhile, three people were injured after a motor cycle bearing number JK21A 2135 was hit by an army vehicle bearing number 095638L at New Bus Stand Samba today.
The injured have been identified as Gulshan Kumar, S/O Gopal Dass of Ghagwal, Mohan Lal S/O Gopal Dass also of Ghagwal and Mohinder Singh S/O Thoru Ram of Ghagwal. The trio was shifted to DH Samba for treatment.
