Ganga discusses border farmers issue with SDM

SAMBA, Sept 15: In order to discuss the problems of border farmers due to heavy loss during incessant rains and flash floods one week back, BJP senior vice president Chander Parkash Ganga today met SDM Vijaypur, Sonu Pargal and handed over a charter of demands to him.
Mr Ganga, while highlighting the problems of Ramgarh area farmers who lost their land, pump sets, cattle and cattle sheds, food grains etc demanded that they by provided with fodder for animals, their power tariff be waived off and they should be provided relief at par with the flood victims of other parts of the State.
Mr Ganga, along with the party workers appealed the SDM to take initiative at ground level in giving justice to deserving people.
The BJP leader said that due to heavy rains and flash floods the villages of  Koulpur, Rattanpur, Barota, Camp, Lagwal, Kamore camp, Rangoor and Nanga farmers had lost their paddy crops and cultivated lands.
