JAMMU, Sept 15: In continuation to the flood relief activities in Jammu region, Yogoda Satsang Dhyana Kendra (YSDK), Jammu distributed tents and ration items at various remote villages.
About 30 severely flood affected families of Seri village in Reasi district were distributed tents and ration, whose houses were fully ravaged in mudslides. Local revenue officials and public representative, Pawan Dev Singh, were present during the occasion.
About 200 families of village Hamirpur Kona in Pargwal area on International border were distributed ration items. The beneficiaries included the villagers whose crops were fully damaged by the flash floods in river Chenab and the fields were submerged in the silt carried by the river.
In village Kulvanta of Ramnagar also, 200 people were donated blankets and tarpals in the presence of local MLA, Harshdev Singh and Government officials.
