PUNE: Former Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar on Saturday strongly criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for introducing the Goods and Services Tax and said the people of Gujarat will teach him a good lesson in this assembly election.
Talking to reporters here, she said the people of Gujarat, especially the business community including diamond and textile merchants, have become so fed up with Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party, and expressed that the Congress is going to form the next Government in Gujarat, she said.
Ms Kumar reiterated that people of this country are suffering a lot due to various wrong policy decisions taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi which has affected the common man of the country. The BJP has to pay a price for it in the State assembly which is going to poll in December this year, she said. (AGENCIES)
