JAMMU, Sept 4: The five-day first aid training course by the Indian Red Cross Society for 3rd batch of the employees of Rural Development Department of Samba District, concluded today.
The said training was imparted voluntarily by a team of senior Doctors, namely Dr Sudershan Gupta, Ex-Prof & HoD of Anaesthesia, Dr Rajinder Thapa, Causality Medical Officer SMGS Hospital, Jammu, Dr Akshay Gupta, Ortho Surgeon, Dr Ranbhushan Singh, Ortho Surgeon, Dr M L Sharma (Retd), Dr Rohini Bhan and Dr Kavita Nijohn of Red Cross Dispensary, Jammu.
Dr Pawan Kotwal, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, who is also the Chairman of Indian Red Cross Society Region, Jammu, was the chief guest on the occasion.
R C Puri, Hony Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Region Jammu, stressed upon the youth to come forward to strengthen social institution like the Red Cross Movement by volunteering their services for the humanitarian cause.
