RAJOURI, Sept 4: The police arrested a youth and recovered kidnapped minor girl from his possession in Budhal area of district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that on the information provided by family members of the girl, regarding kidnapping of the minor Tahira Begum (name changed) from Gundha village, a case FIR No. 63/ 2015 at Budhal Police Station was registered. The police started search and arrested the accused from Sorha Pani area. He was waiting for a vehicle on the road side.
He has been identified as Parvez Ahmed, son of Shah Mohd, resident of Hubi in Kandi area. The girl was also recovered and she was sent for Medical examination. Later, she was restored to the family.
