KATHUA, June 9: Fire broke out in Manu forest range in Billawar Tehsil late tonight.
According to reports the fire has spread up to half a kilometer area in deep forests destroying the Cheer trees in the forest area. The cause of fire was not ascertained as yet.
The forest authorities were also not in a position to control the fire as it broke out late in the night. The loss is also not known.
