RAJOURI, Oct 5: The police has registered an FIR against a villager hailing from Lam area of Nowshera for the alleged murder of his 4-year-old son.
A police official said that the accused, Manjeet Singh, son of Harbans Singh has been arrested for the murder of his son, Ramandeep Singh, resident of village Kanara in Lam tehsil. A case FIR No. 201/ 2021 under Section 302 IPC has been registered at Nowshera Police Station against the accused father on the complaint of child’s mother.
The police said that child’s mother left for her parent’s house at Lam after tiff with her husband the other day. They both had strained relations. Both son and father were at home. When mother returned, she found her minor son lying unconscious at home. The husband was not telling anything clearly and had also taken some stuff. She informed police about the matter . The boy was shifted to hospital where he was declared as dead. He had been given some poisonous stuff. The police interrogated father who confessed his guilt. The police registered a case against him today.
