SAMBA, Sept 25: Mystery shrouds the death of a worker whose body was recovered from the factory premises in Industrial area here this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Ranjit Singh, son of Rattan Singh, resident of Fatehgarh in Hoshiyarpur district of Punjab. He was working in the cement unit at Phase-I, Industrial Complex Samba. A chowkidar noticed the body and informed management. Later, police was informed.
The police party rushed to the spot and shifted the body to district hospital for postmortem. The police registered a case under Section 174 CrPC and started investigation.
