KATHUA, Feb 20: Ex-Services Welfare Association, Kathua held the general body meeting at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park here, today under the chairmanship of Capt.(retd) Gian Singh Pathania. In the meeting the Association discussed the problems of Ex Servicemen.
The Association chairman Capt.(retd) Gian Singh Pathania suggested election of the new office bearers of the Association and also establishment of the new Core Committee which will work under the new body. The meeting elected Capt. (retd) Gian Singh Pathania as chairman of the Association.
Jagdish Singh Jasrotia as vice chairman, Hav. (retd) Manohar Singh as president, Capt. (retd) Mehtab Singh & SM Tarsem Singh as vice presidents and Capt.(retd) Madan Singh as general secretary.
It elected NK Sadhu Singh & NK Thuru Singh as vice-general secretaries Kandi area and Hav (retd) Sat Paul as general secretary, Hav (retd) Major Singh was elected as treasurer, SM Rattan Verma was elected as media advisor and Capt (retd) Sukh Ram as advisor, Capt. (retd) Jat Ram Sharma was elected as organizer while Hav, (retd) Jarnail Singh was elected as administrator.
