Ex-employee of nursing home arrested with stolen cash

JAMMU, Sept 15: Sarwal police arrested ex-employee of a private nursing home with stolen cash.
As per police sources, on September 10 this year, a complaint was lodged by Vishav Gupta, son of Lal Chand Gupta of Subash Nagar with Police Post Sarwal regarding theft of Rs 2 lakh from his private nursing home at Subash Nagar.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 162/19 under section 454 and 380 Ranbir Penal Code (RPC) was registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Sarwal Police Post detained several suspects for questioning and finally arrested the thief.
The arrested person has been identified as Ashish Kumar, son of Kamal Kishore of Old Janipur, District Jammu.
During questioning, the accused confessed that he committed the crime and on his disclosure the stolen cash has been recovered from his house.
The accused was ex-employee of the hospital.
Further questioning and investigation into the case is going on.
