JAMMU, Aug 7: Estates Employees Welfare Assoc-iation (Jammu) met the Deputy Director Estates here today and apprised him of the problems being faced by the employees.
During the meeting, general secretary of the body, Sushil Kumar projected the issues of the employees which included conducting DPC of all cadre, grant of two and half days’ extra pay to the field staff, regularization of daily wagers, provision of requisite tools and uniforms to the technical staff, grant of time bound promotions to the employees, release of timely wages to the daily rated workers etc.
The Deputy Director listened to the issues patiently and assured to take up with the higher authorities. Those who accompanied the delegation included Yash Paul, Satnam Singh, Kewel Krishan, Satish Kumar, Tarsem Lal, Rashpal, Rampal, Girdhari Lal and Harbans Lal.
