SRINAGAR, Aug 7: Speaker Legislative Assembly Mubarak Gul today reiterated that Government is commitment for the prosperity and development of the State besides, providing basic amenities to the people.
He said number of welfare and developmental schemes have already been completed and various schemes and projects in this regard are being implemented.
This was stated by the Speaker while interacting with the various deputations from Noorbagh and other areas who called on him here today at his official residence.
The deputationists put forth their individual and collective problems which include construction of culverts, renovation of lanes and drains, augmentation of water supply schemes, distribution of ration, sugar, k. oil, LPG and issuance of timber on concessional rates.
While responding to various issues put forth by the people, Mr. Gul directed the officers of concerned department for their redressal on the spot and assured the people that their other issues will also be looked into gradually.
Regarding one Jan Mohammad Khandey of Noorbagh, who is undergoing treatment in SKIMS, Soura, Speaker assured the deputation that every possible help will be provided to the injured person. He directed the concerned hospital management to provide medicare facilities to the patient for his early recovery.
