JAMMU, Oct 21: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) today under it’s 374th Monday Theater presented Nukad on “Crime and Drug Abuse” “ Nasha Aur Apradh” at Pacca Talab Rehari Jammu.
Our society is in the grip of drugs particularly among youth which is not at all favorable for youth as well as country was the message conveyed to masses through the Nukad.
There are so many expectations from our youth for better Future of country, but unfortunately they are developing this habit to ruin their health as well as respect and reputation of their parents.
Today’s Nukad was based on the awareness for every youth and their parents who should never be careless about the suspicious activities of their children.
Subash and Ramesh are close friends since their childhood and unfortunately Ramesh has developed bad habit of taking drugs and is associated with criminal minded friends who indulge in anti-social activities like chain snatching to purchase drugs. They even lift vehicles also for money.
Ramesh’s parents and his friend Subash didn’t know this. It is one day when Ramesh is arrested for chain snatching which came as a rude shock to his parents and his friend Subash.
Subash immediately enquired the basic reason behind this episode and managed bail for Ramesh and arranged his admission in Rehabilitation Centre for his treatment.
It was now Subash who decided with the help of his friends to start an awareness campaign against drugs particularly among young generation. Even he convinced different sects of people to help their mission against drugs.
His friends agreed and finally they started their campaign with the truth and reality of dangerous repercussions of drug addiction.
Young people mostly are used to snatching purses or jewellery to get money for purchasing drugs but are finally trapped in the net like Romesh.
Subash has decided to meet as many drug addicts to convince and give them strong counseling so that they can come to know about the ill effects of drug addiction. Subash even suggested parents also to be vigilant and cautious about the unusual activities of their children. They should know their association with their friends so that they can stop them from drug addiction.
A large number of people witnessed this Nukad and appreciated it’s theme.
Actors who acted were Ashok Sharma, Raju Mad,Kavita,Shally and Vijay Malla.
