ESRM organizes National Theatre Workshop

JAMMU, July 8: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) in collaboration with International Volunteer Foundation (IVF) inaugurated National Theatre (Residential) Workshop which is production oriented at Janipur, near Dream Land School Jammu.
This workshop was inaugurated by Dr Arvinder Aman, Additional Secretary of J&K Academy of art culture and language along with Arvind Anand (Lucky), renounced actor of theatre and television. This theatre workshop is national because maximum candidates are participating from outside the State like Delhi, Rajasthan, MP, UP and Punjab. All the candidates coming from outside the State will be residing within the premises of workshop. This will be a  production oriented workshop, which starting today will  conclude on July 28.
The session of workshop will start from 10 am sharp upto 6 pm. President IPTA J&K chapter Vijay Malla will be camp director  of this workshop.  Lectures have been planned for the workshop with the help of prominent and senior theatre teachers who will teach the young actors the subjects like Body language, mannerism, speech, voice modulation, punctuation, Natya Shastra, Dogri folk theatre, Modern Theatre, Parsee Theatre, Ramleela  (Ancient) History of Indian Theatre, Sanskrit Plays, Theatre in poetry, Theatre in short story, Rang Natak and Light Designing, Stage Craft, Makeup, Costumes and property. Expert available in the State will be taking theatre workshop Classes and prominent expert from outside state will also visit this workshop. On the conclusion of  workshop  a full length play will be staged by actors of workshop. The registration of the workshop for the aspiring  candidates is opened upto July 10.
Arvind Anand related theatre experience as an actor and shared it with the students of workshop. He advised the students that they should create a stamina of tolerance which is very important in theatre
