EPFO settles many issues in Pension Adalat

JAMMU, Aug 10: “Nidhi Aapke Nikat” and “Pension Adalat” for the month of August, 2022 was conducted by EPFO Regional Office, Jammu for the stakeholders of Jammu & Kashmir.
EPFO is servicing the entire area from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh with regard to settlement of claims, redressal of grievances, and facilitating stakeholders and so on. Considering the large number of grievances and to ensure service delivery at doorstep, various online initiatives of EPFO such as balance enquiry, filing of online claims including transfer and advance claims and members’ basic details were explained with hands on demonstration.
Mahesh Chander Padha, V P, Tourist Trade People Federation and Nikhil Padha appeared along with grievances of workers engaged in different Organisation. They were advised to provide relevant documentary evidences to enable the office to initiate further action.
Some of the employers were advised over telephone to redress grievances/issues being faced by workers.
In the meanwhile, Sanjeev Kumar, SSSA initiated 802 claims which is a major landmark for any individual in EPFO. Altogether Sanjeev Kumar has processed more than 3000 claims on previous Saturdays and this Tuesday (09.08.2022), which is commendable task. The endeavor of “Nidhi Apke Nikat” programme has always been to redress the maximum number of cases/grievances the same day or at the earliest, said EPFO Commissioner Rizwan Uddin.
