JAMMU, Aug 3: Third Additional Sessions Judge Jammu, Sanjeev Gupta today transferred the much publicized case of encounter Specialist Sonu from Jammu to Bhaderwah as Law Department has issued fresh notification giving powers to all Principal Sessions Judges of J&K for trying the case under PSSA. The Court also directed the jail authorities to produce all the accused before the Principal Sessions Judge Bhaderwah on August 24, 2013.
In the case, the SIT has presented challan against Shiv Krishan Sharma, Sub Inspector (Encounter Specialist), Mohd Ayub, his PSO, Abdul Rashid alias Abdullah, son of Mohammad Iqbal Hargah of Tanta, Akhter Hussain, son of Showkat Ali Magray of Tanta, Mohammad Rafi, son of Mohammad Ibrahim of Patnazi, Bounjwah, Altaf Hussain, cook hotel, son of Nazir Ahmad of Joura, Gandoh and Mohammad Yaqoob, son of Fateh Mohammad of Bathree and Arshad Ahmed, son of Abdul Rehman Mir, all alleged militants of HM.
