JAMMU June 18: Ellaquai Dehati Bank, Purkhoo, branch, organized a Kissan Credit Card camp at Purkhoo here today. The camp was organized to synchronize it with the transparent speedy and at door banking facilities to the farmers of the area.
Among villagers, Bank officials, officials from Agriculture Department, Jughal Mahajan, Sarpanch and A K Razdan, Chairman of the Bank attended the camp. Speaking on the occasion, Razdan requested the farmers to come in a big way for availing loans under Kissan Credit Card Scheme at very cheap interest rates with simplified procedure.
Mr Razdan also disclosed that Bank will be providing ATM cards to KCC borrowers and this will be the first RRB in J&K to introduce such facility.
A large number of KCC loan sanction letters were distributed at the camp. B L Bhat, Regional Manager while speaking on the occasion requested the borrowers for repaying loans timely to avoid unpleasant recovery process.
Jugal Mahajan, Sarpanch thanked Mr Razdan, Chairman of the Bank for speedy sanction of the Kissan Credit Cards to the farmers of the village.
