Srinagar, June 18: Lambasting all the three major political parties of Kashmir for their double standard towards their voters and cheating them on one pretext or the other, Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) today said that these parties have been befooling people here since decades.
The party leaders said there is not any provision for autonomy or self-rule in Indian Constitution and said that those who took oath under the constitution know it well that they can’t do it.
Party general secretary, Manzoor Ahmad Naikoo in a press conference here at TRC said that these parties have been asking people to vote and in return they will restore situation like 1953, then why the same Government failed to give it to its people when they were in power.
“I want to ask NC, PDP and Congress, when election starts, you start political rallies”. I fail to understand what they tell people in these rallies, when in past they failed to deliver, he said.
He said these parties have failed to protect the sentiments of youth and if the same continues the time will not be far when the same youth in their mere frustration will raise gun again, which will be then tough to control.
