JAMMU, May 22: After the conclusion of first phase of election process, a number of candidates have filed their nomination papers for the various posts of office bearers of Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCI), for which the elections will be held on June 10, 2014.
Parveen Kumar Gupta and Rakesh Gupta filed their nomination papers for the post of president, Jagdish Langer, Sham Lal Langer and Surinder Mahajan for the post of senior vice-president, Bharat Bhushan Gupta and Deepak Aggarwal for junior vice-president while Anil Gupta, Arun Gupta, Bhuvneshwar Gandotra and Manish Gupta filed their nomination papers for the post of secretary general.
For the post of secretary, Rahul Mahajan and Rajesh Gupta filed their nomination papers while Ashu Gupta, Narinder Gupta and Rakesh Jandial filed nomination papers for the post of treasurer.
The scrutiny of the nomination papers will take place on May 31, 2014 and the last date for withdrawals from the contest is June 10, 2014.
