UDHAMPUR, Mar 28: The dead body of an elderly person was recovered from Gole Market area of UIdhampur town here this morning.
The deceased was later identified as Batter-62, son of Abdul Karim, resident of Choba village in Ramban. He was found lying on the ground near old Sarai at Gole Market, Udhampur during morning time. The people gathered there and informed police.
He was shifted to District Hospital, Udhampur where he was declared as dead. The police sent it for postmortem. They have started investigation.
