JAMMU, Mar 28: Jhajjar Kotli police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing two cattle and arresting a smuggler.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Jhajjar Kotli Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle.
During checking, police rescued two cattle from the vehicle and arrested one person, who has been identified as Mohammad Qasim, son of Mohammad Arif, a resident of District Ramban.
A case under FIR Number 38/19 has been registered at Jhajjar Kotli Police Station and investigation started.
