DWC holds meet

JAMMU, Jan 15: Digiana Welfare Committee (DWC) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Aslam Khan.
During the meeting, the participants highlighted the dilapidated condition of lanes, drains and roads. They said that this issue was taken up with the concerned authorities several times, but nothing has been done till today.
While speaking, Aslam Khan said that some residents had made ramps before their gate and had encroached the road, which is creating hurdles for the general public. The matter was taken up with JMC but till date no action has been taken in this regard, he added.
He appealed to the concerned departments to redress their issues at the earliest.
Among others present were Tarsem Lal Bhagat, Magar Singh, Puran Singh, Devi Dass, Kashmira Singh Chib, etc.
