KISHTWAR, Jan 21: Dulhasti Power Station provided medical equipments to District Hospital Kishtwar under Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development (CSR & SD) scheme of NHPC.
In this connection, a function was organized today in the training hall at Field Hostel of Dulhasti Power Station. Ashok Kumar Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar was chief guest on the occasion. Ravinder Singh Manhas, Chief Medical Officer, District Kishtwar and Parvez Iqbal Wani, Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Kishtwar were also present on the occasion.
Inaugurating the program, Nirmal Singh, General Manager (In-charge), Dulhasti Power Station, said that Dulhasti Power Station undertakes various development works under the CSR and SD scheme and today medical equipments worth Rs 6.88 lakh i.e. 10 Emergency Trolley, 13 Suction Machines and 01 C-Arm Orthopedic Operation Table are being provided to District Hospital Kishtwar, which will help in providing better healthcare facilities to the locals. Apart from this, he added, Dulhasti Power Station is also contributing in the areas of education, health, environment, sanitation etc.
Deputy Commissioner Ashok Kumar Sharma appreciated and lauded the work being done by the Dulhasti Power Station under the CSR-SD scheme and assured to provide all possible support in future also to Dulhasti Power Station for CSR-SD works.
Ravinder Singh Manhas, CMO Kishtwar also praised Dulhasti Power Station for providing the necessary medical equipments on the request of District Hospital Kishtwar.
Parvez Iqbal Wani, Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Kishtwar, said that Dulhasti Power Station has always been providing necessary medical equipments on the request of the District Hospital, which helps in providing better healthcare facilities to the people of Kishtwar district. This time also, these medical equipments are being provided by the Dulhasti Power Station to the District Hospital at our request, which was very much needed in the District Hospital, he added.
On this occasion, Dr Nisha Sharma, General Manager (Medical Services), Suresh Kumar, General Manager (Electrical), R N Sharma, Deputy General Manager (Civil), Sanjay Kumar Singh, Senior Manager (Finance), Ashok Kumar Dhanwal, Senior Manager (HR) along with other senior officers and employees of Dulhasti Power Station were present.
