Drugs, arms-ammunition recovered in train

JAMMU, Aug 14: A contraband of drugs and arms and ammunition was recovered by police during a random checking in Banaras Express at Railway Station, Jammu Tawi, this afternoon.
According to SSP Railways, Jammu, Shiv Kumar Sharma, a bag containing one loaded country made Kata along with 12 bore rounds, 200 Parvon Spas capsule, 648 Spasmo Proxyvon, five packets of Alpra Quile containing 540 tablets and 90 Ultra tablets, was found lying abandoned in General Coach Compartment of Banaras Express by a team of police led by SHO, Police Station, GRP Jammu, Surinder Paul Singh under the supervision of SDPO Railways, Jammu, Chander Jeet Singh.
All the contraband items have been seized and a case FIR No 12/2014 U/S 08/21, 22 NDPS Act, 03/25 Arms Act, has been registered at Police Station, GRP Jammu.
