JAMMU, Mar 28: Nagrota police arrested a drug peddler and recovered heroin from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Nagrota Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a car.
During checking, police team recovered 2 grams heroin from the possession of the possession of the driver and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Akhilesh Sharma, son of Vipan Kumar, a resident of District Udhampur.
A case under FIR Number 147/2020 under section 8/21 NDPS Act has been registered at Nagrota Police Station and investigation started.
