Driver rescued from accident vehicle, hospitalised

JAMMU, Aug 5: A driver has been rescued from accident vehicle near Kunjwani here.
As per police sources, during the intervening night of August 4 and 5, a truck loaded with iron bars met with accident near Kunjwani.
On getting information, a team from Police Station Gangyal led by SHO Inspector Joginder Singh Chib along with flying squad personnel immediately rushed to the spot and started rescue operation.
The driver namely Rattan Singh of Sangroor Punjab, who got trapped inside the vehicle after the accident, was rescued and shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where his condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Gangyal and investigation started.
