Dr Vaid inaugurates training prog

Udhampur, Dec 12: Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy, Udhampur is organising 3 day police training programme for KAS(Prob.) officers of 2013 batch.
The course is designed to familiarize the officers of civil administration with work and functioning of police. The objective is to achieve coordination between important stake holders of peace and harmony in the society. At the inaugural ceremony Dr. S.P. Vaid, ADGP (Hqrs) delivered lecture wherein, he advised the young officers of civil and police administration to leave aside their ego and work in coordination to provide better service to the people. He gave number of other useful suggestions to the probationers while sharing his vast experience with them.
Dr. Shahid Iqbal, District Magistrate Reasi delivered powerpoint presentation on role of magistracy in maintenance of peace and held interactive session with the Officers who were greatly benefited by his administrative acumen and experience.
Earlier, Director Academy Parminder Singh, in his welcome address gave an over view of the said course and other curricular/ co-curricular activities of the academy.
