JAMMU, Apr 4: Basically a resident of Kashmir, Dr Sayed Basharat Ahmad Shah, presently based in Germany and working there as Senior Corporate Scientist apart from working with German Judicial System as Honorary Judge, has been conferred ‘Award of Honor’ by the Indian Association for the Advancement of Veterinary Research (IAAVR).
The award was given to Dr Shah during the inaugural session of 19th Indian Veterinary Congress on February 1, 2019 at the West Bengal University of Animal & Fishery Sciences, Kolkata.
The award was in recognition to the outstanding academic achievements and research contributions of Dr Shah in the field of Veterinary and Animal Sciences.
The award was presented by a galaxy of Vice Chancellors of Indian Universities and other important dignitaries in a function.
Dr Shah is originally come from Bijbehara in south Kashmir.
