JAMMU, May 7: General secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Congress Committee and Chairman of Earth Foundation International Dr Abdul Rashid Choudhary has been awarded the US Legislative Fellowship sponsored by the US Department of State.
Dr Rashid Choudhary from Congress Party, Dr Deepti Rawat from BJP, Vinod Rana from Biju Janta Dal and Anar Bhat, a social activist have been selected through a rigorous phase wise process to represent India at this prestigious platform.
The fellows shall be exchanging ideas on the policies adopted by the Indian political system on various issues related to the world peace, economic situation, global climate change etc.
Dr Abdul Rashid will be one of 22 participants selected from hundreds of applicants belonging to five countries.
