JAMMU, Apr 16: Dogra Group of Colleges hosted an engaging and informative session on the evolving landscape of career opportunities in the 21st century.
The event featured guest speaker, Lt Gen Bhopinder Singh, (Retd), former Governor of Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Puducherry, with his vast experience in leadership roles. He shed light on the importance of adaptability, resilience, and continuous learning in today’s dynamic job market and the skills needed for success in modern careers.
“The 21st century presents a plethora of opportunities across various sectors, and it is essential for students to be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in this fast-paced world,” he remarked.
Th Gulchain Singh Charak, former Minister of Higher Education, Govt of J&K and Chairman of Dogra Educational Trust, in his address, emphasized the commitment of Dogra Educational Trust towards shaping the future of students by providing them with holistic education and grooming them to become competent professionals capable of contributing meaningful to society.
Charak echoed similar sentiments, stating, “At Dogra Group of Colleges, we are dedicated to nurturing talent and empowering students to realize their full potential. He outscored that his focus is not only on academic excellence but also on fostering critical thinking, innovation, and ethical leadership.”

Arushi Khajuria, Sr. Lecturer Dogra Law College introduced the event and set the tone for an enriching discussion. The event proceeded further with the welcome address presented by Dr. Gitika Sehgal, Coordinator, Dogra Educational Trust.
This interactive session was aimed to aware the students with the various fields in which they can opt their career after completing their graduation. Vote of thanks was presented by Dr Shefali Sharma, Management Representative, Dogra Educational Trust.
