BARI BRAHMANA, Dec 11: Managing Committee meeting of Dogra College of Education (DCE) was held here today under the chairmanship of Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, Chairman Dogra Education Trust (DET).
The meeting was attended by Prof. Rajni Kant, Director Colleges Development Council (CDC), University of Jammu (JU); Prof. Seema Langar, Dean Faculty of Life Science, JU; Prof. Suresh Sharma, Principal Govt. Degree College, Ghagwal; Brig. M.S Jamwal (Retd.), Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary DET; Dr. Vikesh Kumar Sharma, Principal DCE and Indu Puri, Sr. Lecturer, DCE.
All the members were apprised by the Principal of the College about the innovative activities ventured upon by the staff and students to realize the goals and objectives of the course being pursued at DCE.
On this occasion 14th Volume of College Magazine ‘Shikshak’ was released by the members of the Managing Committee.
For academic session 2021-23, Dogra Group of Colleges announced full fee concession for COVID-19 orphans who have lost their parents in pandemic. Thus, 9 seats across 6 courses were announced for free with two seats each in BA LLB 5 year course and LLB 3 year (Prof) course in Dogra Law College, two seats in B.Ed course in Dogra College of Education and one seat each in BBA course, B Com course and BA course in Dogra Degree College.
Apart from this, other facilities like study and reading material from the College will be provided to such students free of cost which will also include book bank facility of college libraries, a set of two uniforms, free Hostel and Mess facility for out station students fulfilling the criterion of concessions.
