DLSA organizes awareness camp on drug abuse, environment

REASI, Oct 13: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Reasi under the guidance of Executive Chairman, Jammu & Kashmir State Legal Services Authority (SLSA) organized, a general awareness camp on “Anti-Plastic, Water Conservation, Drug Abuse and Environment” at Gurukul Public Higher Secondary School, Reasi.
The chief guest, Justice Rajesh Bindal, Executive Chairman, J&K SLSA, presided over the function. The students of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Reasi, Government Higher Secondary School Katra and Gurukul Higher Secondary School Reasi participated in the programme.
The students enlightened the gathering by way of skits/debates etc, about the harmful use of plastic, drug addiction and how to save the environment/water.
Justice Rajesh Bindal, during his speech, emphasized on water conservation, harmful use of plastic, drug menace, protection of environment and how to prevent wastage of food. He also released pamphlets of legal services/environmental issues, stickers on traffic rules/environment and home-made thread bags.
The programme was attended by MA Chowdhary, Member Secretary, J&K SLSA, Kamlesh Pandit, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority (Principal District & Sessions Judge) Reasi, Anjum Ara, Secretary, DLSA Reasi, Sunil Kumar, Munsiff Katra, Rimpi Rani, Munsiff JMIC Reasi, Assma Chowdhary, Additional Mobile Magistrate Reasi, Additional Deputy Commissioner Reasi and members of Bar Association Reasi.
