DLSA distributes woolen clothes among Nari Niketan girls

RAJOURI, Feb 20: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Rajouri under the chairmanship of Jaffer Hussain Beg (Principal District & Sessions Judge Rajouri) and with active participation of Social Welfare Department Rajouri organized a programme at Nari Niketan to distribute woolen clothes.
On the occasion, Secretary DLSA Rajouri Meyank Gupta, Tehsil Social Welfare Officer Khursheed Malik and Superintendent Nari Niketan were also present. Chairman DLSA Rajouri interacted with the girls and distributed clothes and refreshment amongst the girls of Nari Niketan. The woolen clothes were also distributed by the students of Delhi Public School Rajouri who were also present.
Chairman DLSA Rajouri apprised the girls about their rights and also made them aware about the services rendered by DLSA Rajouri. Amongst the girls of Nari Niketan present, prominent was Sonia Kouser who is undergoing MA Sociology and training in Physiotherapy. She was given further motivation to study by Chairman DLSA, Rajouri, who also awarded her for continuing education.
Moreover, Chairman DLSA, Rajouri also ensured that one more Nari Niketan girl namely Tahzeem Akhter with artificial limbs should be given new limbs at the earliest and directions were given to the concerned department on the spot.
