JAMMU, Aug 26: District Jammu body of social organisation Guru Nabha Dass Samaj Kalyan Parishad (GNDSKP), was formed in a meeting held today at its Head office, 69, Janipur, Jammu under the Chairmanship of its President, Sansar Chand Krotra.
Dr Dheeraj Lakhnotra, Tehsil Social Welfare Officer was nominated as the President, while Dr Shamsher Lal Lalotra (Lecturer) was named as Vice-President.
Anchal Kumar, JE (PHE) was nominated as the General Secretary, while Deepak Tandotra (Environment Specialist Housing Board) was named as the Secretary and Manohar Lal, (SDO, BSNL) was named as the Cashier.
On this occasion, Trilok Nath Deol, General Secretary of the Parishad briefed about the policy matter of the Parishad and its objective of helping needy/meritorious students of the Mahasha Community in all districts of Jammu province.
Sansar Chand Krotra, President of the Parishad stressed upon the issue of upliftment of students of Mahasha Community & also lauded the support of Advisors of the Parishad namely Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal, former Minister; Rup Lal Bharti, IFS and former Member PSC; Bodh Raj Dogra, Chief Engineer (retd), Dr Shiv Kumar, Deputy Director (retd) and Shaillo Ram, Tehsildar (retd) in helping the needy.
Prominent among other members who participated in the meeting were Gopal Dass, AGM (retd) & Vice-President, Rajesh Bajgal, Cashier, Jai Pal, Working Committee Member.
The meeting concluded with the vote of thanks presented by Gopal Dass, Vice-President.
