JAMMU, Mar 31: Chairman & Vice Chairman of Rotary Hospital and Eye Care Centre Udhampur distributed masks and sanitizers among police personnel at DPL Udhampur to protect them from the COVID-19.
D N Sharma (Chairman) Kamal Gupta (vice chairman) along with S S Kerni (Finance Secretary), Sanjay and Shahi (Eye Hospital Staff) of Rotary Eye Care And Gernal Welfare Foundation Udhampur distributed sanitizers and masks to the Police personnel at DPL Udhampur and also delivered a lecture on the basic protective measures against the Coronavirus in the presence of Sujit Kumar, DIG Udhampur -Reasi Range, Rajinder Singh Katoch, Additional SP Udhampur, Himat Singh DySP DAR DPL Udhampur and other police officers/jawans of district Udhampur.
During the interaction, the guest laid emphasis to follow Do’s and Dont’s issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India/ Health & Medical Education Department J&K viz washing hands frequently, covering nose and mouth with handkerchief/tissue while sneezing & coughing, avoid participating in large gathering, avoid close contact with anyone, avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth. All the police officers/jawans patiently heard the guidelines and safety measures taught during the programme.
At the conclusion, the Additionial SP Udhampur presented a vote of thanks to the guests for sanitizers and masks for police personnel of district Udhampur and also for elaborately explaining the basic precautionary measures against Coronavirus.
The DIG Udhampur further distributed sanitizers and masks among the cops.
