DIG Patil asks youth to follow traffic rules

JAMMU, May 20: As part of the Y20 series of events, Kartavya Youth and Cultural Foundation organised a programme about youth participation in development and their role in shaping new India.
The chief guest was DIG Traffic (Jammu), Shridhar Patil while SDPO Domana was guest of honour.
The programme was organised by Chetan Wanchoo, Ankush Sharma and Sanjay Sharma.
Speaking on the occasion, DIG Patil shared valuable insights and perspectives on youth engagement and their impact on societal development.
“It is crucial for young people to follow traffic rules and prioritize safety on roads. Engaging in dangerous stunts not only puts their lives at risk but also endangers lives of others too,” Patil maintained adding: “By following traffic rules, youth can contribute in creating safer environment for themselves and also for the community as whole.”
SDPO Domana highlighted the importance of such programmes.
In her welcome address, GDC Paloura Principal, Ashu Vasishta appreciated the efforts of Kartavya Foundation for organising such programmes.
Foundation Members Ankush Sharma, Chetan Wanchoo and Sanjay Sharma thanked Shridhar Patil for imparting awareness among youth to follow traffic rules strictly.
Vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Khusha Sharma.
