CRPF organises Dental Check-Up Camp

JAMMU, May 20: An awareness programme and dental check-up camp was organized by Composite Hospital (CH), CRPF, Jammu in association with team of Indira Gandhi Government Dental College Jammu. Team headed by Dr. Iqbal Singh, HoD Public Health Dentistry, Indira Gandhi Government Dental College conducted tobacco cessation awareness programme and dental check up for CRPF personnel and their families at Group Centre, CRPF Bantalab.
A lecture on ‘Quit Smoking’ was also delivered by the team of Indira Gandhi Government Dental College.
In dental check-up camp about 185 CRPF personnel of CRPF campus Bantalab were screened for oral hygiene and cancer screening.
On this occasion Dr. Biram Singh, IG (Medical) of CH, CRPF, Jammu, N.K Yadav, DIGP, GC Jammu along with Dr. Heera Raja, CMO (SG) CH Jammu, Dr. Ranita A. Chanu, CDS and P.C Gupta, Comdt, GC Jammu were present.
In this programme oral cancer prevention and oral hygiene were promoted among force personnel and their families.
