RAJOURI, Mar 11: A delegation of families and relatives of Dhangri and Phalyana massacre victims met Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal and SSP Mohd Aslam today.
The delegation was headed by Dinesh Sharma, District president BJP Rajouri, Som Raj Sharma (Tehsildar Retd) and accompanied by Rajinder Gupta, Bharat Bhushan Vaid, Subash Sharma, Ranjit Singh Tara, Sarpanch Om Parkash, Khem Raj, Sourabh Sharma, Kaushal Gupta and Ratan Singh.
The delegates narrated tale of miseries and pointed out that even after 70 days of massacre the militants haven’t been neutralised so for and all OWG are still at large.
The family members, all leaders and villagers demanded security briefing to the villagers on regular intervals, and installation of CC TV cameras which have not been installed so for despite promise.
Another demand was to provide employment to those who have been permanently disabled due to grave injuries during attack. Next family members of Phalyana shoot out have not been issued employment orders so for.
After hearing patiently all genuine demands and grievances, the DDC assured to address their demands. SSP said that security forces are proactive and will neutralise the militants shortly.
