Deputation meets Sethi on parking problems

JAMMU, Apr 18: BJP State General Secretary, Yudhvir Sethi today asked State administration to identify parking lots in old city and construct new ones or make the existing ones affordable but not harass people by lifting their vehicles.
He said in absence of parking lots or in presence of expensive parking fee people, especially shopkeepers are suffering.
A deputation of presidents of different Bazar Associations of Old City met Sethi and expressed their concern over lifting of parking area from along Women College, Parade and outside Geeta Mandir area. The deputation said that yellow lines must be marked all over the city and vehicles should be allowed to be parked away from it.
Sethi gave a patient hearing to the deputation and asked the State administration to help citizens and not create chaos in the city which is already marred with traffic congestion.
Sandeep Gupta, Manish Sabarwal, Ramesh Mahajan and others were present in the deputation.
