JAMMU, Jan 6: A delegation comprising of former MLA Bani and BJP Phari District Basohli president, Jewan Lal; DDC Member Bani, Reeta Devi and Sarpanch Kanthal, Moti Ram met Chief Engineer PMGSY, Rajan Mengi; Chief Engineer PWD, Manzoor Hussain and Director Rural Development Department, Mohd Mumtaz Ali.
The delegation discussed various issues pertaining to the department regarding construction and prioritization of new roads under PMGSY and CRF including construction of motorable bridge over Sewa Nalha near Mela Ground.
It also discussed clearance of MGNREGA liabilities, IAY pending installments and filling up of the vacant posts of Junior Engineers in Block Bani, Duggan, Malhar and Duggain Blocks.
Apart from this the delegation members discussed the compensation issue of Sallo Leundi road under NABARD etc.
The officers assured for early redressal to all the issues raised by the delegation.
