JAMMU, Sept 13: A delegation of Yuva Rajput Sabha today called on Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Avny Lavasa and projected several demands including declaration of birth anniversary of Late Maharaja Hari Singh, (September 23) as holiday.
They also discussed various issues pertaining to the celebration of the Birth Anniversary of the Late Maharaja.
The Deputy Commissioner Jammu listened to the issues projected by the delegation and informed that the committee constituted by the government to look into the demand has submitted its report and is under the consideration of the authorities.
The delegation of Yuva Rajput Sabha comprised its President, Rajan Singh, Vice President Mandeep Singh and others.
Satish Kumar Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu and Ramnish Gupta, Superintendent of Police HQ, Jammu, were also present.
