JAMMU, June 6: The inhabitants of Friends Lane and Vikas Lane Talab Tillo Ward No 31 are facing a great problem due to blockage of Sewer line in the area since its commissioning by UEED in 2017.
The inhabitants of the area said the sewerage system was laid in 2003 but was made functional in 2017 by providing house hold connections but the system has proved complete failure as the sewerage main holes and chambers are over flowing at various places with a flux up to individual house gutters. This has led to un hygienic and pathetic condition.
The residents said the problem has been brought to the notice of concerned Department many times by visiting the concerned officials at the helm of affairs but they turned a deaf ear to the problem of the residents of the area.
The residents have urged the concerned authorities to look into the problem at an earliest to save the people from the nuisance created by chocked sewerage system.
