JAMMU, July 4: Crime Branch Jammu has booked a deceased Tehsildar Jammu and two others for hatching a criminal conspiracy with other revenue official and illegally diverting the status of land.
A case FIR number 16/2014 under Section 420,465,120-B RPC has been registered against the then Tehsildar Jammu Rattan Chand (now deceased), Bansi Lal of Balwal, Jammu and Romesh Chander of Gurha Brahmna, Jammu
Brief facts of the case are that a written complaint duly endorsed by Excise Mobile Magistrate Tehsildar, Jammu under 156(3) CrPC was received in Crime Branch Jammu wherein the complainant namely Badhur Singh of village Bhalwal Tehsil and District Jammu alleged that the accused Tehsildar after hatching a criminal conspiracy with others, illegally diverted status of land inherited by him and his brother from their ancestors.
